I want to ride my bicycle...

What's up good people? Tonight was a very exciting night! Brent came over with one of our sponsors, Freedom Concepts Inc, to assist us with ordering the bike. I cannot wait to ride it and post photos. Thanks for everyone who was involved in making this process simple and easy going!

In other news, K.Peasey bracelets are in, so get them while they're hot! Please message Brent or Evan Pease via Twitter or Facebook for orders. Bracelets are $3 each. Please check the blog regularly as we are getting the ball rolling in high gear!

Day One of Training

Me and my good buddy Anna Roberts, who is also going to accompany Team Kpeasey in the half marathon, decided to brave the cold today for my first training. It was very good to experience the outdoors and get my wheels moving. I won't be in my motorized wheelchair for the race, but I am trying to get used to being outside and having my heart rate up. Training was great. It was nice to catch up with my old pal, but we realized we have some major work to do! I am looking forward to building my endurance. Today was an awesome start to the journey of a lifetime.

Over the next few weeks and months one of the KPeasey Team representatives will be updating you on Facebook, Twitter, or this blog with updates on training, equipment, and preparation. Again, we cannot thank you enough for your incredible support. Thanks!

Walking with KPeasey 2011

Welcome to 2011, we hope everyone is having a great start to the new year. I wanted to get out this announcement to everyone about some exciting news for 2011. After some initial discussions with close friends, we have decided to kick off Kyle's newest venture with some races out on the open road (read more about Kyle on his website With a tremendous THANKS to our title sponsor, Tri Kids, Inc.,, we have entered Kyle in two races this spring. The first race will be the Georgia Publix 13.1 half marathon, He will be racing with his twin brother, Evan, and accompanied by myself on March 20, 2011. We would love all the support we can get so please consider either signing up to join us on the journey or coming out in support on race day.

The second race we have entered Kyle in is the St. Anthony's Olympic Triathlon on May 1, 2011. In this race, Kyle will be swimming and biking with myself and joined by Evan for the run portion. A special thanks to Dynamo,, and Head Coach Matthew Rose, who will be helping Kyle and I prepare for this race. Freedom Concepts has signed on to help construct a custom bike that Kyle and I will use on race day Lastly, we want to thank Witzlib Studio Fitness who has signed on to assist with some strength and core training in preparation for race day,

We would love to have additional support while racing in St. Anthony's. If you can make it to St. Petersburg for the race, we will keep you posted on hotel locations. You can check the race website for hotel recommendations, but we will update those interested once a location is selected for the Kpeasey team. Keep an eye out for some event dates later this spring with KPeasey to help get the message out.

We will be updating training progress and race updates via facebook, twitter and Kyle's Blog. For more information, please follow:

Hello, what's good? I'm sorry that I have not blogged in quite some time, but I hope that everybody had a wonderful New Year and 2011 will be a great year for all of us. Congratulations to my big bro and Erica for their engagement, I am very happy for both of them. 2011 will be a very epic year for those of you that don't know I am competing in a triathlon in Tampa with my brothers, if you are so inclined please comment on this blog with your email address so that you can receive updates and I will turn this blog over to my brother to update everyone on all of our endeavors. I don't know how I feel, but I am very excited and ready to show people what the Pease boys are all about. The theme for this is Walking for Kpeasey. We wanted to do something like Rise Up, but I can't touch that right now, my Falcons are going to do their thing and Sam and Danielle are going to the game - I am so pumped!

2011 has already been a shocking year for me. The other day as I was on MARTA going to meet Amy at the Thrashers game, my jacket was wrapped around me and got caught on my joystick, I was on the platform going up on the elevator when my jacket hit my joystick and started reversing at a pretty good clip. I was on the phone with my dad and he could hear the fear in my voice and I started panicking and yelling for help as loud as I could. Two people came running over to assist me, this just shows that there are good people still in this world.

I wish everybody a joyous 2011 and I hope that this year will bring everybody much joy and happiness.
